Dear family and friends!
This week has been a great week! We are preparing a family for baptism
and they are progressing very well! We had an activity in the middle
of nowhere on Saturday in some random field by one of the members
sketchy houses. I was a little nervous at first because we invited
this family and..... Well........ The members in our ward are a little
bit weird. We left the activity for just a few seconds and they all
started to sing flamenco. (Look it up) but thankfully it ended up
being all right in the end.
Officially Holy Week has started and people are going crazy! It's
almost impossible to contact because we are not allowed to contact
people watching the parade. Is a very cool experience, but it makes
the lords work very hard.
We have seen a lot of mearicles this week!
the amount of investigators coming to the church and those people in
our ward share the gospel is really amazing! It makes the lords work
so much harder if the members don't want to help. It's so important to
just show your gratitude for the gospel by sharing it with others!
I know that this is the only true church on the earth. I know that the
Book of Mormon is the word of God and a testament of Jesus Christ.
There are no word that I can express the blessings that I have
received from serving a mission. The lord works in many ways but there
is only one way we need to work. Which is obedience, repentance, faith
and all the other things that he tells us to do through the scriptures
and his prophets! I am so thankful for his teaching.
I love you all

Nefi and moroni don't taste to bad...
Dear family and friends,
I promise I didn't spell Nephi Incorrectly, its just how they spell it
in Spanish. I can actually spell in Spanish unlike English.
Basically this week was a miracle! We have a lot of investigators who
are progressing very well! The only problem is they have a hard time
going to church! So this week we really focused on helping them make
this act of faith. The night before we invited a Spanish family (super
rare because almost every member of our ward is from South America) to
come to church and as we were leaving their house we asked them if
they wanted to have the address. To my surprise their response was,
"if God wants us there he will guide us." So basically I didn't know
what to think about that one. Also we have an investigator who told us
she was going to church but the morning of, her daughter brought over
the grandkids and told her to watch them. So when church started
nobody was there! But right before sacrament the Spanish family walks
in as well as our other investigator! Plus we had an Ecuadorian family
visit the church in another city because they were working there that
day!
This Spanish family that we are teaching is going to open up a
restaurant. So one day while we were teaching them they told us they
really liked the names Moroni and Nefi, so they named their hamburgers
Nefi and Moroni! I promise they are not crazy they are just Spanish.
The lord does work in mysterious ways. I know that the lord blesses
his children! I am thankful to have a wonderful companion who always
wants to work hard and bless the lives of people around him! I
probably have said this a lot but it's something I am still learning
and studying. But we need to act before we receive!
I love you all and am thankful for the opportunity I have to be here.

Attributes of Christ
Dear family and friends,
I apologize for the late email, we were unable to write on Monday
because we were in Malaga again. I am happy to say that this was my
last trip to Malaga, my time as a driver has come to an end. Now that
my 6 months here in Spain has come my companion will do the driving.
It will be his first time driving in a year so your prayers will be
appreciated.
This last week we have done a lot of finding! We are teaching a lot of
people and helping them in their process in learning of the
Savior.
We are having trouble with people coming to church so we are
definitely needing to focus on helping them with that.
This passed Sunday we ate with one of our members and his friends
Jesús. This man is one of the scariest sickly looking men I have ever
met. He walks slower than most dead animals, smokes about 3 packs a
day, it was hard for him to get passed dinner without smoking. He is
48 but looks 78 and has problems with finding a wife. During the
lesson it was hard to understand him because he was taking with food
in his mouth. Even my companion for Barcelona didn't understand him.
Basically I realized that my initial thoughts of him were not in line
of Christ's. So I just stopped my Judging and taught him the gospel.
He was having trouble sleeping so we told him that if he would read
the Book of Mormon before he went to bed he would sleep...
Oh he slept! He told us it was the first time in a year he had a good
nights rest! Also that he wants to meet with us again.
I know that our Savior watches and loves every single one of us. I
know that charity is the pure love of Christ and that we should try to
emulate this love to all. I am thankful for the example of our Savior
and His love for everyone. I hope to come closer to Him through study,
prayer and acting.
I love you all and am thankful to all
