Subject: Shortest week of my life! But one of the greatest!
Dearest family and friends!
The work is going strong here in Molina de segura! Unfortunately,
because of the time change half of the ward missed church, but it's
all good they will come next week!?
This week has been very interesting! We have seen a lot of
precessions in the streets this week! Which is basically a bunch of
KKK members carrying big statues of Jesus on the cross and other
idols that our church doesn't really "focus on". Other than the
apostasy, it's a super cool experience!
Now that the crazy week is over we are really going to focus on
setting baptism dates with our investigators, we need to do better at
really helping them know the importance of baptism and how it truly
sets our live on the path to eternal life.
The Spanish couple went to Sevilla this week to spend it with there
family; while they were there they wanted to assist a other church of
one of there friends to "be like Joseph smith" and search for the
truth. I'm glad for their faith and willingness to search for the
right church. I can't wait to meet with them this week and talk about
their experiences! I know they will find the answers they are looking
for!
This past Sunday we celebrated the greatest moment in the history of
time; The Saviors resurrection completed the Atonement, and with that,
the salvation of man. It makes me sad that not everyone knows of
this great sacrifice and the marvelous blessings we are give. I will
never fully understand His infinite sacrifice but I will never forget
it! I want to share this message with the world and the gladness it
brings. My plead for you all is to remember Him always, that we might
have His spirit to be with us. We NEED to remember Him, and we will
receive more blessings than we can know.
I love you all and you will always be in my prayers!
Love
Elder Owens
