Faith

Dear family and friends,

I hope you all have had a great week! My week was pretty quick! We went on
splits with the other elders on Tuesday! All in all it was pretty
good. One of the elders is finishing his mission along with 30 other
missionaries in 2 weeks, so we will be running low on elders for a
few weeks. On the split we ate with an Ecuadorian family and found a
sweet guy on the street named Jose! Hopefully he will be going to
church this week!

Things in Torrevieja are great! We have been having a lot of meetings
with the ward and giving them information on how they can help us with
the work! This week we also had a lesson with Veronica's mom! She just
had a very close friend die and we are helping her understand that
this life is not the end! Hopefully we will get some members to drive
her to sacrament meeting and back! We have high hopes for her!

Unfortunately we have had a little trouble with Terry. I will let you
know if things change. For now all we can do is pray and have faith!

This week we have been doing our best to focus on seeing the hand of
the lord in the work. Too many times we go day to day without
recognizing the small but constant miracles in our lives. I remember
reading a talk a while ago on keeping a journal and how someone had
kept a journal writing every day, how he had seen the hand of the Lord
during those 24 hours. When we decide to keep our eyes peeled for the
blessings of the Lord I guarantee we will see how merciful the Lord
truly is. So let's decide to be more thankful and seek out the
blessings from God.

I love you all,

Elder Owens
